Detroit Ruins Map

This is a map I made for an ALA online class on Geospacial techniques and mapping.  It goes along with a reference resource bibliographic essay I did for my Reference class at Pratt.  I wish I could show you the Google Earth version of this map that shows housing vacancy data for 2001-2010 as an overlay.  It allows you to see how the empty the city has become over the past 10 years, but I can’t figure out how to link it.  It was really fun learning how to make the map and quite easy.  I was able to link movies and pictures to each of my points of interest.  Enjoy!

P.S. One quick note, the pictures for the Train Station are embedded on the building itself, not the marker. So just click on the building on the map and the pictures and info will show up.
